Terms & Conditions


Circuits World (referred to as the "Guarantor") guarantees good quality and proper functioning of the purchased device when used appropriately for its intended purpose, in accordance with the specified datasheet (including maximum and minimum voltage specifications) and the operation manual. Warranty services are provided subject to the following conditions:


1. Warranty Coverage



This Warranty covers defects resulting from:


  • Defective parts from our manufacturing facility

  • Installed and mounted materials

  • Manufacturing process defects

Such defects are covered if revealed during the 6-month period from the date of purchase.



2. Definition of Defective Device



A device is considered defective if:


It fails to perform functions as indicated in the operation manual, datasheet, technical specifications, or similar documents supplied with the equipment


The failure is due to internal device characteristics only



3. Exclusions

– Consumables



This Warranty does not cover consumables such as:


Ink, tapes, one-time usable products


Parts with limited regular functionality due to natural wear and tear



4. Exclusions

– Third-Party Software/Firmware



This Warranty does not cover any software or firmware:


Developed and commissioned by third-party manufacturers or vendors


Installed on devices under repair, for testing purposes, or delivered along with the device



5. Limitation

– Data/Software Loss



The Guarantor shall not be held responsible for any loss occurring during or restoration of:


  • Software

  • Hardware

  • Data


6. Warranty Service Timeline



Defects and damages covered under this Warranty shall be removed free of charge exclusively by the OEM Manufacturer’s in-house service center within 14 working days from the date of delivering the device to the service center.



7. Extended Timeline for Parts Unavailability



The repair timeline may be extended if replacement parts are not available in India.



8. Conditions for Warranty Service



Warranty services will be provided only under the following conditions:


  • The Customer must immediately and effectively notify the Guarantor about any device defects and cease using the device.

  • The defective device, along with:

  • A copy of the commercial tax invoice

 

  • A letter stating the problem with device functionality must be delivered to the OEM Manufacturer’s in-house service center.

  • The serial number on the delivered device must match the serial number sold to the Customer.

  • The device must have no physical damage.

  • The device must have intact seals (e.g., "warranty void if opened") with production date or serial numbers of the OEM Manufacturer.

  • The device must be appropriately packaged during loading, transportation, and unloading.

  • Shipment to the service center must be arranged and paid by the Customer.


9. Charges for Non-Covered Defects



The Guarantor reserves the right to charge the Warranty beneficiary with:


  • Service costs

  • Transportation

  • Insurance

  • Customs clearance

…if the defect does not fall within the scope of this Warranty or the device has not been proven defective

.


10. What This Warranty Does NOT Cover



This Warranty does not cover:


  • Mechanical or electrical damages from:

  • Incorrect installation

 

  • Wrong wiring configuration

 

  • Improper voltage

 

  • Improper usage

 

  • Activities inconsistent with the operation manual or technical specifications

  • Damages caused by:

  • Acts of God (floods, fires, lightning, natural disasters)

 

  • Wars, unexpected events

 

  • Improper voltage or defective supply materials

 

  • Other external factors

  • Tampered devices – if the Warranty beneficiary or any other person has:

  • Attempted to copy the design

 

  • Reconfigured, repaired, or made willful constructional variations, modifications, or adjustments

 

  • Devices with serial numbers or Guarantor seals that are damaged or illegible

 

  • Activities specified in the operation manual that remain the sole responsibility of the Customer (at their own expense)

 

  • Defects from improper or non-genuine supply materials

 

  • Damages due to the user’s fault or lack of knowledge about the device and its functionality

 

  • Defective functioning caused by conflict or incompatibility between:

 

  • Software applications installed on the damaged device

 

  • Software on equipment that the device permanently cooperates with (as per its intended purpose)

 


11. Replacement Rights



The Guarantor reserves the right to replace the defective device or component with a free-of-defects equivalent, provided such equivalent ensures efficiency and functionality equal to or higher than the original. Replaced defective devices or components become the property of the Guarantor

12. Warranty Period Extension



The Warranty period is extended by the time the repaired device remains in the OEM Manufacturer’s in-house service center.



13. Force Majeure



The Guarantor shall not be held responsible for any failure to perform Warranty obligations if such failure is caused by:


Any event or circumstance beyond reasonable control of the Guarantor


Events that could not have been foreseen with professional accuracy at the time of assuming Warranty obligations



14. Right to Refuse Service


 

The Guarantor reserves the right to refuse Warranty services if providing them would result in a breach of applicable laws.



15. No Claim for Lost Profits



The rights granted by this Warranty do not include the right to claim:


Lost profits in connection with device defects


The Guarantor shall not be held responsible for any material losses caused by the defective product.



16. Changes to Warranty Terms



These General Product Warranty Terms and Conditions may be changed if the Buyer and Guarantor establish different conditions in a separate agreement. Such provisions shall supersede the respective provisions in this document.
