USB Host - Driving License & RC Reader

This USB Host Module works with a USB CCID reader to read the name & other details of a driving license and RC book of a vehicle.

The module works with HID Global OMNI KEY - 3021 USB Smart Card Reader.

Once connected to the USB reader the module detects the card insertion and removal. The module supports reading and decoding driving license and rc book of a vehicle and gives the following datas through UART.

Driving License :

1. License Holders Name

2. Driving License Number

RC Book :

1. RC Holders Name

2. Vehicle Registration Number

Can be customised to output other datas available in License / RC like validity, address and any other data's that are available in the DL / RC.

Operating Voltage : 5V

BaudRate : 9600 (Can be customised)

The module has on-board 3.3V regulator and the I/O's are LVTTL - 3.3V. Use level converters to interface with 5V MCU's.

Note : This product doesn't come with HID Global OMNI KEY - 3021 USB Smart Card Reader (CCID USB card reader). You have to purchase it separately.

This product can be customized as per need.
